Ngaruawahia take 16-strong squad south


Ngaruawahia pair Nick Hellwig and Glen Brown face late fitness tests before Sunday’s Chatham Cup soccer semifinal aginst Dunedin Technical.

Neither player trained last night. Coach Jeff Coulshed confirmed his squad of 16 to travel south tomorrow would include ex-All White Brian Hayes.

Dunedin Technical coach Roger Brooks’ only concern for Sunday is striker Rod Fleming, who has an ankle injury. Graeme Marshall, who has a broken nose, is expected to play.

Central United play Metro in the other semifinal.
