AFFCo RANGERS
Never before has a Club scored so few goals as the four netted by AFFCo Rangers and future prospects looked bleak. The club’s live-wire Director, Les Vuletich, was still out to prove that Affco Rangers can still hold its own in the Northern League, even if in the 4th Division in 1977.
The Club had no junior backup and a training field “way out at Horotiu”. The club called on 30 players during the year and on three occasions fielded less than a full side as well as a notified default. Jeff Tozer performed well as defender and coach (replacing Alan Dornan after two games), top-scoring with two goals.
